Guests rave about the subtle ways The Ocean Lodge reminds them of a 1940’s vintage beach resort with large wrap-around verandas and unobstructed views of the beach perfect for sunset gazing. We have 37 oceanfront studios and suites in the main lodge and an additional 8 adjacent to the lodge.
Hotel and rooms exceptionally comfortable, warm thoughtful and creative personal touches throughout, lovely textures/colors/beautiful textiles, lighting and architectural details are all first class.

The lobby welcomes guests with the warmth of massive Douglas fir beams and beautiful reclaimed and repurposed hardwood floors, all of which are anchored by a massive two-story river-rock wood-burning fireplace. Upstairs, a library with its own fireplace, is filled with modern and classic literature, handsome coffee table books, poetry and books on scientific discovery for our guests to enjoy.
And there’s always fresh hot beverages and fresh baked cookies awaiting our guests. This is beach living at its best.
History
We knew that with this rare Cannon Beach location we had an opportunity to create something very special, something that our great-grandchildren would be proud of a century from now.
Our aim is to return to a nostalgic time of warmth and comfort while including the modern amenities that today’s discerning guests appreciate and deserve.
